Monica Barton advises clients on a variety of state and local tax matters, including multistate litigation, audit defense, and tax policy.
Prior to joining the firm, Monica worked in the transaction tax advisory group of a global accounting firm. There, she advised corporate and private equity clients on a range of international and federal tax matters.
During law school, Monica worked as an intern for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Monica is currently pursuing her LLM part time at New York University.
