ASSOCIATE

State Tax Law is seeking an associate with 1-3 years of experience to work with our Team of tax lawyers in New York.  We are looking to add to our Team that represents and advises clients on litigation, controversy, planning, advice, and policy matters. We have a collaborative Team of lawyers that coach and mentor lawyers to quickly grow within our practice. The characteristics of the ideal candidate are – 

• 1-3 years of law firm or accounting experience.
• Strong interest in the tax practice area.
• Must enjoy the complexity of the tax practice area.
• Must be intellectually curious.
• Team-player who knows how to collaborate to achieve the objective.
• Good judgment.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be resilient in the face of challenges.
• Confidence to take responsibility for matters.

The associate will receive regular training and feedback to develop the skills required for our practice.  We develop lawyers to achieve our goal to provide our clients with exceptional quality advice and representation.  State Tax Law provides our associates with –
